FireGrain is a revolutionary process of heat treatment that transforms hickory logs into precision tools with unmatched durability. The heat treatment hardens the hickory but the logs retain their original weight and balance. The hardening gives a more solid sound with a clearer attack and despite the harder hickory, the playing feel is the same without unwanted vibrations. No gimmicks, just natural hickory, cured by fire flames for best durability.

- Rebound Balance (RB) has a long (3") tapered neck and extra good rebound suitable for dynamic playing.
- Pitch Match - Max 6hz corresponds to about 0.25 tone steps difference between the logs in a pair. Good pitch matching is essential to get smooth swirls.
- Weight matched pairs - Market leading tolerance between logs in a pair of max 1,5gr.
- Acorn tip for increased response and articulation.
- Made in the USA. With its own sawmill, Promark can already sort and select the most suitable parts for log production when sawing. This ensures consistent and highest possible quality.
