Ortofon MC-X50

The Ortofon MC X50 is the flagship model in the MC X Series, engineered to deliver the highest level of performance for demanding vinyl enthusiasts. Combining advanced Moving Coil technology with premium materials, it offers exceptional detail retrieval, precision, and musical accuracy across the entire frequency range.

At its core is a nude Micro Ridge diamond stylus mounted on a lightweight boron cantilever. The extremely narrow stylus profile provides outstanding groove contact, resulting in superior high-frequency tracking, reduced inner groove distortion, and long-term durability. The boron cantilever ensures fast transient response, excellent resolution, and remarkably low distortion.

All MC X cartridges feature coils wound with high-purity silver wire and a newly developed magnetic system designed for maximum efficiency. This combination delivers a clean, powerful signal with exceptional clarity, allowing every nuance of the recording to be reproduced with precision.

The MC X50 also features a newly developed rubber suspension compound specifically engineered for this model. Combined with Ortofon’s advanced damping technology and a robust MIM stainless steel body with honeycomb core structure, it ensures excellent tracking stability, reduced vibrations, and a highly natural sound presentation.
