Lake People MC10

The Lake People MC10 is an ultra-compact monitor controller that combines professional monitoring control, high-quality digital-to-analog conversion, and flexible connectivity in a very small footprint. It is designed for mobile rigs, small studios, editing suites, and other workspaces where accurate monitoring is essential but space is limited.

The MC10 offers two inputs, including one USB-C digital input and one RCA analog input, along with two line outputs in balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA format. On the front panel, two headphone outputs provide convenient access for different monitoring setups.

The USB-C input supports PCM audio up to 384 kHz / 32 bit and DSD up to 256. Conversion is handled by the AK4490 D/A converter, known for low distortion, high dynamic range, and clean detailed sound reproduction. Volume is controlled through a high-grade Alps RK27 potentiometer with 41 detents for precise and repeatable adjustment.

Despite its small size, the MC10 delivers strong headphone amplification and can drive both low-impedance and high-impedance headphones effectively. Internal DIP switches allow adjustment of line output level and headphone gain to suit different workflows and monitoring needs.

The unit is powered via USB-C, and a second USB-C port is available for external power when using the analog input or reducing power draw from the connected source. The solid aluminum housing and German manufacturing ensure long-term durability and professional reliability.
