Lowering the barrier to entry into the HiFi industry
Entry-level headphones should be well-made so that more users can experience the wonders of high-fidelity sound. To this end, the development team equipped the JD1 with a dynamic 10mm LCP (Liquid Crystal Polymer) driver. Its light weight and high rigidity allow this driver to deliver rich and powerful bass that brings instruments like a drum kit to life. And thanks to the team's meticulous tuning, the driver is also highly detailed and distortion-free, like a true hi-fi headphone, resulting in a clear and natural sound.

FiiO's asymmetrical design of internal and external magnet circuits has already been used in several other products, including the FD3, the "Little Conch" series of IEMs, and others. Now this technology has found its way into the JD1. Compared to the traditional design with a single internal or external magnet, the asymmetrical design of the internal and external magnet circuits increases the magnetic field density around the voice coil, resulting in a more powerful and robust sound, as well as improved transient response.
