FBT JMaxx 114A

The FBT JMaxX 114A is a powerful and lightweight 2-way active speaker that delivers 700W + 200W of amplifier power and a maximum sound pressure level of 132 dB SPL (peak). This 14-inch speaker combines ease of use and versatility for a wide range of applications, including live performances, DJ sets, rentals, corporate events, churches, bars, and clubs.

The speaker is designed with gas-infused shapes that minimize resonance and improve low-frequency performance. It is equipped with FBT’s latest 90° x 60° high-speed horn for better dispersion and precision in the mid and high frequencies.

The JMaxX 114A features four distinct sound presets to suit various applications: clear vocal and monitor response, enhanced lounge sound, punchy sound for DJs and nightclubs, and a general EQ setting that reflects FBT’s classic sound profile.

It is equipped with a powerful, lightweight Class D amplifier with a switched power supply that delivers ample power and headroom for large transients without distortion. The built-in 14-inch low-frequency driver is unique, as it delivers performance comparable to a 15-inch speaker despite being housed in a smaller cabinet weighing just 16.5 kg, making it easy to transport.

The speaker features clearly labeled connections and control panels on the rear, including XLR inputs and outputs, volume control, EQ settings, filters, and a ground lift switch. It offers a variety of mounting options with M10 mounting points, wall brackets, and an integrated pole socket for easy installation and portability.

The design also includes angled cabinets for stage monitors with 12°, 40°, and 55° tilts, ensuring clear feedback for performers. The JMaxX 114A weighs only 14 kg and is equipped with 900 watts RMS for powerful and clear sound reproduction.
