20" Z Custom Ride
A ride with a fantastically clear and brilliant attack. The bell is piercing with a clear accent.
With this ride every single beat is heard clearly even if you are fighting against a thick wall of distorted string instruments.
Although the series is made with hard rock in mind, this ride is no fault in other musical occasions where you want these very qualities.

14" Z Custom Hi-hat
Hi-hat with a brilliant and clear attack when played closed and a piercing sound when played with the hi-hat open. The Z Custom hats respond lightning fast when playing hi-hat openings and the stomp is clear but not too massive.
Perfect for fast blast beats but also for other musical occasions where you want a distinctive hi-hat with a brilliant top sound.

16" and 18" Crashes
The crashes are fast, explosive and penetrating but without becoming unmusical. 
Hard and mean but still with dynamics and body. They open up in a wonderful way even with weaker playing but without choking when you clap them properly.

Z Custom - Made 4 metal!
The Zildjian Z Custom is penetrating and clear, but the reintroduced 2024 version has more body, opens more easily and is significantly more dynamic than previous generations of the Z series. This does not mean in any way that the series has become a cymbal for softer playing, but rather this is a series made primarily for hard rock. It fits everything from heavy metal to thrash, black and death metal, but parts of the series can also fit into other styles of music depending on the sound you are looking for. The ride cymbals with their clear and brilliant touch can very well fit into a country band as well as a more extreme metal band. The hi-hat with its clear, clear and fast sound can fit just as well into a hip-hop band as it does to the drummer who plays blast beats at the speed of light. It is all a matter of sound ideal, taste and preference.
But the primary area of application for the Z Custom is music in the harder school.

Zildjian - Genuine Turkish Cymbals Made In USA
All companies have their history, Zildjian's started in 1623. Zildjian is Armenian and means "Cymbal Maker".
The name was given in the 17th century to the alchemist Avedis from Constantinople. During one of his attempts to produce gold artificially, he had mixed together an alloy of copper, tin and silver. He never got any gold, but Avedis discovered that the alloy had fantastic sound properties. He decided to change tack and started making cymbals. Avedis had much greater success with his new business than with alchemy. His cymbals spread far beyond Constantinople and he passed down the formula for the unique copper, tin and silver alloy to his children who kept the business within the family.

From Turkey to the USA
300 years later, the head of the family was again called Avedis (the great) They still use professional drummers and percussionists in their work. However, the foundation of Zildjian's position as a world-leading cymbal manufacturer is and remains the old Avedis metal alloy and a craftsmanship that spans four centuries.
