EAD stands for Electric Acoustic Drums, transforming your acoustic drum into a powerful hybrid between an acoustic and digital kit with sampled sound and studio quality effects. It allows you to easily mop up your drum kit live, practice music and customize the pace, or record yourself with your favorite iTunes artist and share with your friends. With the iOS app, "rec n share" (free), you are shooting yourself with the phone while the audio is downloaded from the module and then easily uploaded to YouTube and other social channels.

EAD10 - complete solution for drums

EAD10 consists of two parts: the EAD microphone and the EAD module. The microphone is easily attached to the sauna room and picks up the sound from the entire drum unit. Bastrumman itself activates a sk. trigger signal picked up in the microphone unit and converted to digital audio in the module. The acoustic sound of the microphone and digital audio from the audio library of the module can be mixed to suit and taste and processed with various built-in effects like compressor and reverb. The result is a high quality studio-grade drum sound that can be played on headphones, PA systems, or recorded on a laptop, USB stick or iPhone.
