Warm Audio Dirty Boy Jr. Overdrive

The Warm Audio Dirty Boy Jr. Overdrive is a premium all-analog overdrive, preamp and amplifier simulation pedal developed in collaboration with boutique pedal builder Dirty Boy Pedals. Based on Dirty Boy's acclaimed Preamp circuit and proprietary T.A.E. (Tube Amp Emulation) technology, it delivers highly dynamic, touch-sensitive tones inspired by vintage British tube amplifiers.

The pedal covers a wide range of sounds, from clean boost and warm overdrive to sweet distortion and fuzz-like textures. The Gain, Tone and Volume controls provide straightforward tonal shaping, while the analog Variac control introduces dynamic sag and compression by simulating the voltage reduction associated with vintage tube amplifiers operating at different stages of breakup.

A dedicated speaker-emulated output voiced after a closed-back 4x12 cabinet with Greenback-style character allows the Dirty Boy Jr. Overdrive to function as a complete all-analog amplifier simulator. Connect it directly to a mixer, audio interface, front-of-house system or FRFR cabinet for convenient direct recording and live applications.

The pedal can also be used as a traditional overdrive, an FX loop preamp or a tube-style boost. Its true bypass circuit preserves your natural guitar and amplifier tone when disengaged, while the compact metal enclosure features authentic Dirty Boy styling. Each unit is hand-tested and inspected in Austin, Texas.
