Warm Audio C1-MOD

The Warm Audio WA-C1 Chorus Vibrato Mod is a compact, fully analog stereo chorus and vibrato pedal based on a celebrated vintage all-analog modulation circuit. It combines authentic analog tone with modern controls and a pedalboard-friendly enclosure.

The WA-C1 Mod features a 100% analog preamp with selectable Vintage and Modern modes. The preamp can be bypassed in Modern mode, making the pedal suitable for setups where precise gain staging is required. A rear-panel impedance switch provides either the vintage 50 kOhm input impedance or a 1.1 MOhm Hi-Z setting for passive string instruments.

The chorus section uses a modern recreation of the MN3007 Bucket Brigade Device chip and provides separate Depth and Rate controls. This expands the range beyond vintage designs while retaining the characteristic lush, detailed modulation of an analog BBD chorus.

The vibrato section provides separate Depth and Rate controls for rich, three-dimensional modulation. A flashing LED indicates the selected effect and modulation rate, while stereo wet/dry outputs provide flexible integration into pedalboards and other setups.

The circuit uses premium components and an internal dual DC-DC voltage converter for robust internal voltage operation from an external 9 V power supply. Top-mounted jacks and a compact enclosure make the WA-C1 Mod easy to integrate into pedalboards.
