The MV50 is equipped with VOX's revolutionary Nutube technology, a modern tube that allows you to build amplifiers with the classic tube sound but in a much smaller format, and the disadvantages of warm-up time, lifespan, and fragility are completely eliminated.
When connected to a 4-ohm cabinet, it delivers up to 50W of powerful, loud watts!
It sounds much bigger than its size would suggest.
It works well with almost any speaker cabinet. On the back, there is a switch where you can select a Deep or Flat mode. If you connect your MV50 to a smaller speaker cabinet, select Deep mode and the amplifier will produce slightly more low-end to compensate for the smaller cabinet's more treble-heavy sound. If you have a larger cabinet, use Flat mode and the MV50 will let your guitar sound through completely unaffected. Another small switch, also located on the back of the top, allows you to choose between 4, 8, or 16 ohms of impedance depending on which speaker cabinet you connect it to. On the back, there is a speaker output and a headphone/line output with built-in speaker simulation for easy practice or recording.

The design and functionality are stylish and bold at the same time, with volume, bass, and treble controls, as well as an analog VU meter and input jack on the front. The MV50 is an incredibly cool top with a robust chassis that you can easily carry with you using the chrome handle.
