Tone Shaping and Audio Quality

The dual Tone Shaping Preamps feature three selectable modes: Warmth, Focus, and Shine. They allow analog character to be added to vocals, synthesizers, and instruments. The 32-bit/192 kHz conversion provides detailed audio for both recordingand playback.

Smart Display, Auto-Gain and Clip Protection

The full-color Smart Display provides immediate visual information about inputs, levels, and system status. Auto-Gain detects peak levels and automatically sets optimal gain, while Clip Protection helps prevent sudden level increases from ruining a recording.

Recording and Loopback

The two XLR/TRS combo inputs allow two microphones, guitars, or stereo sources to berecorded simultaneously. The dedicated Hi-Z inputs can be used for instruments. Loopback combines microphone inputs with computer audio for podcasts, livestreams, and video production.

UAD Software and LUNA

Volt 2 Gen 2 includes a selection of UAD plug-ins and instruments together with Universal Audio's LUNA Digital Audio Workstation.
