The Union Audio eq.xfader is an innovative rackmount module specifically designed to expand the orbit.6 analog rotary mixer. Equipped with a high-quality Innofader crossfader and a dual 4-band isolator, the unit offers maximum control and flexibility for mixing. Its 6-channel architecture allows for seamless integration with the orbit.6 rotary mixer, significantly expanding its capabilities. The convenient mix/cut function allows you to flexibly adjust the crossfader to your desired transition style – from smooth fades to quick cuts. The rear panel of the orbit.Isolator unit features six channel inputs, each accepting the left and right signals from the direct outputs of your orbit.6. Inputs 1-3 are assigned to the X-side of the crossfader, and inputs 4-6 to the Y-side. For normal operation, simply connect the orbit.6's channel direct outputs to the corresponding channel inputs on the orbit.Isolator unit. Use high-quality audio cables with 6.3 mm jack plugs – both TS (mono) and TRS (stereo) are compatible. Connect the mixer insert on the back of the Orbit.Isolator unit to the master insert of the orbit.6. You can also daisy-chain two Orbit.Isolator units by connecting the insert of the first unit to input 6 of the second. (TRS cables are required for this.) The iso insert is used exclusively for connecting external devices such as a compressor, EQ, or other effects units.
