The Technics SL-1200M7G is a limited-edition Gold Edition DJ turntable created to commemorate the 55th anniversary of the legendary SL-1200 series. Produced in a worldwide limited run of just 12,000 units and available in seven distinctive colours, it combines the performance of the SL-1200MK7 with exclusive gold-edition details and professional DJ functionality.

The coreless direct-drive motor provides smooth, stable rotation with high torque and accurate speed control, eliminating the cogging associated with traditional direct-drive motor designs. The digital pitch control offers ±8% and ±16% adjustment ranges, while the selectable 78 rpm speed expands the turntable's versatility for different DJ styles and record collections.

A high-sensitivity static-balance tonearm provides precise tracking, while the high-rigidity two-layer chassis combines aluminum die-cast, ABS and glass-fibre construction with high-damping insulators to reduce unwanted vibration. The result is reliable tracking and faithful reproduction of vinyl records during both performance and listening.

The Gold Edition is distinguished by a unique serial number plate, a magnesium tonearm with gold finish and a limited-edition slipmat featuring a gold Technics logo.
