Takumi TT 3.1 Beech

The Takumi 3.1 turntable represents the highest level of analog playback within the Takumi range, combining precision engineering with refined materials and elegant design. Created by Rik Stoet, it delivers exceptional stability, low noise, and a highly natural sound presentation.

The Delrin platter is precisely machined for optimal mass and vibration damping, closely matching the properties of vinyl to improve coupling and reduce unwanted resonance. This results in enhanced speed stability and reduced wow and flutter.

The plinth is constructed from solid wood, available in beech or walnut, and layered with acrylic for improved resonance control. A mechanically decoupled top layer minimizes vibration transfer, creating a stable platform for accurate playback.

The belt-driven DC motor ensures smooth rotation, while the ceramic bearing system and aluminum subplatter provide low-friction performance. A lightweight titanium tonearm with full cardanic bearings ensures precise tracking and excellent detail retrieval.

Controls for speed selection and tonearm lift are integrated into the front panel, maintaining a clean design. An optional SpeedPod controller allows for precise RPM adjustment and monitoring.
