The Platinum series has always been one of the most important speaker lines in the TAGA Harmony premium category. When developing the Platinum v.4, the design team aimed to meet the high expectations created by its predecessors while introducing a modern and elegant appearance. The result is a series delivering outstanding sound performance that TAGA Harmony believes exceeds what is typically expected within this price range.

The Platinum series has been completely redesigned with upgrades to all crucial sound-related components and entirely new elegant enclosures.

Because music and sound are about emotions and listening experience, extensive listening tests and precise sound tuning were essential during development. The Platinum v.4 sound is characterized by deep, perfectly controlled bass, a rich and smooth midrange, and detailed, crystal-clear highs with a wide and airy soundstage.

Construction and Technology
The third-generation TLIE-II enclosures (Taga Low Interference Enclosures) feature a more rigid structure and thicker MDF walls to reduce unwanted resonances while increasing internal volume. The enclosure walls are 12 mm thick, and the front baffle is tilted backward to time-align the drivers and further minimize resonance and turbulence.

The magnetically mounted grille provides a sleek appearance and reduces distortion when removed. High-end internal damping material helps break up standing waves and reduce resonances for smoother sound across the frequency range. The cabinets feature durable vinyl finishes designed to imitate natural wood texture.

The BOM Bassreflex Omnidirectional Module uses low-turbulence, high-velocity ports with concave diffusers to improve low-frequency dispersion.

The second-generation TPTTD-I tweeter (Taga Pure Titanium Tweeter Dome) utilizes a lightweight titanium dome and a copper ring on the T-yoke to increase SPL range, reduce distortion, and deliver faster, more accurate movement for detailed and airy sound reproduction. The TWG-I tweeter waveguide faceplate improves sound dispersion and creates a wider and more natural three-dimensional soundstage.

The third-generation TPACD-II bass-midrange drivers with aluminum cones and TRCS (Taga Reversed Cone Surround) technology provide fast response, higher dynamics, and precise bass performance.

The Platinum v.4 crossover sections are designed by renowned Polish loudspeaker designer and audio reviewer Arek Ogrodnik. The crossover uses a minimal number of carefully selected high-quality components to ensure neutrality, precision, and high power handling.

Internal wiring made of multi-stranded oxygen-free copper ensures that the signal maintains its integrity from amplifier to drivers. The speaker is also equipped with high-quality gold-plated binding posts compatible with cables up to 10AWG and most common connectors.
