The PF-1000DC power filter combines power noise filtering and DC component blocking functions.

The electrical network in homes and workplaces is exposed to various types of interference such as electromagnetic interference (EMI) generated by appliances including refrigerators, air conditioners, and computers. These disturbances may originate both inside and outside the building and can vary depending on electrical network load during different times of the day or week.

These disturbances, commonly referred to as electrical noise, can enter AC power and negatively affect system performance. This “dirty” electricity may reduce the sound and picture quality of your audio-video system.

The TAGA Harmony PF-1000DC power noise filter effectively limits electrical interference and isolates connected equipment from contaminated power. The unit also features phase detection and polarity correction.

The built-in DC blocker removes or significantly reduces unwanted DC components in the supply voltage on selected power sockets. These components may cause transformer buzzing and increased operating temperatures, negatively affecting sound quality. As a result, connected devices operate more quietly and efficiently while mains hum in speakers is greatly reduced.

With the PF-1000DC you can achieve improved audio and video performance. Acting as a buffer between the wall outlet and connected equipment, it also helps extend the lifespan of system components.

The front-panel voltage indicator allows monitoring of mains voltage stability. An IEC C14 power inlet and removable Schuko-IEC C13 power cord allow upgrading to a premium audiophile power cable at any time.
