The PC-DC power conditioner combines four functions in one device: power noise filtering, DC component blocking, a linear power supply for USB ports, and surge and overload protection for all AC outlets and USB ports.

POWER NOISE FILTERING
The electrical network in homes and workplaces is exposed to various types of interference such as electromagnetic interference (EMI) generated by appliances including refrigerators, air conditioners, and computers. These disturbances may originate both inside and outside the building and vary depending on overall power network load.

Such interference, commonly referred to as electrical noise, can enter the AC supply and negatively affect audio-video systems. TAGA Harmony power conditioners effectively reduce these disturbances and isolate connected equipment from contaminated power while acting as a buffer between the wall outlet and connected devices, helping extend their lifespan.

Four independent filtered groups of switched and unswitched 230–240V Schuko sockets utilize dedicated interference filters optimized for different audio and video components. Each group employs a separate SQ common mode inductor with high-purity oxygen-free copper winding, low DC resistance, uniformly distributed electric field, and extremely low distributed capacitance for improved high-frequency EMI filtering.

High-quality Class-X capacitors and a powerful 200W toroidal transformer isolate equipment from line noise. The transformer features aluminum shielding against electromagnetic interference. Internal oxygen-free copper wiring (18AWG and 16AWG) ensures optimal conductivity.

DC BLOCKER
The built-in DC blocker removes or significantly reduces unwanted DC components responsible for transformer buzzing and increased operating temperature. Connected devices operate more quietly and efficiently while mains hum in speakers is reduced.

The DC blocker can be switched ON or OFF in real time for selected socket groups. Blocking capability up to 12000mV (12V) using 10 high-current bridges and 2 x 47000µF capacitors ensures highly efficient DC filtering without degrading sound performance.

LINEAR POWER SUPPLY FOR USB OUTPUTS
Many DC-powered devices rely on switch-mode adapters that introduce electrical noise. The PC-DC features a high-quality linear power supply delivering clean and stable 5V power to USB ports, significantly improving performance of connected devices.

3-tier filtering system:

• Tier I & II (230–240V): initial filtering and isolation via toroidal transformer.
• Tier III (DC): dedicated EMI filtering for USB outputs.

SILVER-PLATED INTERNAL WIRING
All internal wiring connecting the main board with sockets is made from silver-plated 4N (99.99%) oxygen-free copper with Teflon insulation. Power inlet and switches use 14AWG OFC wiring, while indicators use double-insulated 22AWG OFC conductors.

SURGE AND OVERLOAD PROTECTION
The PC-DC provides surge and overload protection for all outputs.
