The PC-DC power conditioner combines four functions in one device: power noise filtering, DC blocking, a linear power supply for USB ports, and surge and overload protection for all AC outlets and USB ports.

Power Noise Filtering
The electrical network in homes and workplaces is exposed to various types of interference such as electromagnetic interference (EMI) generated by appliances like refrigerators, air conditioners, and computers. These disturbances can enter the AC supply and negatively affect audio-video systems. The PC-DC acts as a buffer between the wall outlet and connected equipment, effectively reducing interference, improving performance, and extending the lifespan of components.

Four independent filter groups for switched and unswitched 230–240V Schuko sockets. Each group utilizes a dedicated SQ common mode inductor with high-purity oxygen-free copper flat enameled winding, low DC resistance, uniformly dispersed electric field, and very low distributed capacitance for improved high-frequency EMI filtering. High-quality Class-X capacitors and a 200W toroidal transformer with aluminum shielding provide additional isolation from line noise. Internal oxygen-free copper wiring (18AWG and 16AWG) ensures optimal conductivity.

DC Blocker
The built-in DC blocker removes or significantly reduces unwanted DC components in the supply voltage, responsible for transformer buzzing and excessive heat. The result is quieter operation and reduced mains hum in speakers. A real-time switchable DC blocker allows activation or deactivation for selected socket groups. Blocking capability up to 12000mV (12V) using 10 high-current bridges and 2 x 47000µF capacitors ensures highly efficient DC filtering without compromising sound quality.

Linear Power Supply for USB Outputs
Many DC-powered devices use switch-mode power supplies that generate electrical noise. The PC-DC features a built-in high-quality linear power supply delivering stable and clean 5V power to USB ports, significantly improving the sound performance of connected devices.

3-tier filtering system:
Tier I & II (230–240V): initial filtering via the power noise filtering system followed by isolation through the toroidal transformer.
Tier III (DC 5V): dedicated high-frequency EMI filtering specifically for USB outputs.
