The neck-through construction has been part of Spector’s DNA since the company’s inception and has been prized for decades by bassists seeking maximum sustain, resonance, and playability. The Icon NS-5 Neck-Through builds on this legacy with a design developed by the Spector Custom Shop, combining classic Spector aesthetics with modern electronics and professional-grade performance.

The iconic arched NS body provides exceptional playing comfort whether standing or sitting, while the neck-through construction ensures a consistent response across the entire fretboard. The quilted maple top and high-gloss finish give the instrument an exclusive look that matches its professional specifications.

To deliver the characteristic Spector tone, the bass is equipped with Aguilar DCB pickups and an Aguilar OBP-2 preamp. This combination delivers a rich and defined low end, clear articulation, and great dynamics, making the Icon NS-5 Neck-Through equally at home on stage as it is in the studio. The longer 35-inch scale length also provides improved string tension and a clear, focused tone on the low B string.
