Easy Access to Mac mini Ports

RackMac mini (2024+) is a rugged steel 2U rackmount enclosure for securing three Mac mini computers side-by-side in a rack, placing them behind an efficient and protective front panel. Convenient front panel operation allows you to turn Mac minis on and off with their own dedicated front power buttons. Front and rear panel openings provide access to all the computers’ ports, enabling you to connect and disconnect cables easily without needing to remove the computers from the enclosure.

Cool Design - Supports the Mac mini Thermal Design

RackMac mini (2024+) secures your Mac mini computers without trapping them in recirculating hot rack air, supporting their thermal design to keep them as cool in a rack as out on a desk. Ventilation holes on the enclosure’s front panel ensure the computers’ ability to draw in cool air through their bases and expel warm air out the back unimpeded. RackMac mini is designed to allow WiFi and Bluetooth wireless operation in most configurations (performance will be impacted depending on rack type and position in rack), so you can use wireless devices and iOS device control apps.

Space for SSDs - Secure USB SSDs Under Each Mac mini

RackMac mini provides space beneath each computer to house a USB SSD (sold separately) up to 4 inches wide by 4 inches deep by 0.5 inch tall. Simply apply a supplied adhesive-backed magnet to the bottom of an SSD, insert the SSD and then connect it to the computer. The space is also suitable for other thin, bus-powered devices.
