The Sonnet Echo SE I T5 solves this by enabling you to connect a professional PCIe card externally via Thunderbolt. This compact, single-slot expansion system works with Macs, Windows PCs, and Linux computers equipped with Thunderbolt 5, Thunderbolt 4, Thunderbolt 3, or USB4 ports, and supports almost any Thunderbolt-compatible (non-GPU) PCIe card.

High-Performance PCIe Expansion

Echo SE I T5 provides up to 6000 MB/s of bi-directional PCIe bandwidth, twice that of Thunderbolt 4, making it ideal for demanding PCIe cards such as video capture/playback, audio interfaces, RAID controllers, high-speed networking, and storage adapters.

PCIe 4.0 Slot with Daughter Card Support

The enclosure features an x8 PCIe 4.0 slot and supports full-height, half-length+ cards up to 7.75 inches, including double-width cards or cards with attached daughter cards.

Powerful, Compact, and Quiet

An auxiliary PCIe power connector supports power-hungry cards, while the rugged aluminum enclosure houses a temperature-controlled, ultra-quiet fan for near-silent operation. The system automatically powers on and off with your computer—no power switch required.

Thunderbolt 5 Connectivity

The dual-port Thunderbolt interface delivers 80 Gbps bi-directional bandwidth (up to 120 Gbps for display bandwidth). One port connects to your computer; the second supports daisy-chaining additional Thunderbolt or USB devices, provides 15W of power, and supports connection of one 8K display.

Included Accessories

A certified Thunderbolt 5 cable and ThunderLok connector lock are included to ensure maximum performance and prevent accidental disconnections.
