Shure MXW neXt 2 Wireless Boundary Transmitter Omni

Styled in black, the Shure MXW6X/O is an omnidirectional boundary microphone designed for use with the MXWAPXD2 Access Point Transceiver (available separately) as part of the MXW neXt 2 wireless conferencing system for classrooms, conference spaces, presentations, and events. The MXW neXt 2 is an expandable two-channel hybrid system with a wealth of connectivity options that allow for a mixture of local and remote participants. The system is quick and easy to set up and features a host of built-in DSP functions that provide clear, intelligible audio.

The mic's forgiving omnidirectional pickup pattern captures sound in a 360° pattern all around the microphone, allowing more than one person to easily use a single mic.
Users in need of more focused pickup pattern better suited to a single user can purchase the MXW6X/C instead, which features a cardioid microphone capsule.
Smart Powering The included SB906 smart lithium battery pack delivers up to 17 hours of continuous use and recharges quickly.
The power switch can be defeated to prevent accidental powering off.
A convenient out-of-range alert reminds the user to return the transmitter to the charging station (available separately).
