Description
The Showtec Typhoon 640 is a unique lighting effect that uses six circular 40W RGBW LEDs pointing inwards towards a centrally positioned rotating half mirror ball. The six RGBW LEDs can be controlled individually and the speed and direction of the half mirror ball can be controlled to create unique, colourful mirror ball patterns. Each of the six RGBW LED housings also contains an RGB LED effect strip, which can be individually controlled, but can also display different shows that can be selected to display entertaining patterns and effects. It is convection cooled for low noise.
The Typhoon 640's low profile and wide beam angle make it ideal for rooms with low ceilings, but it can also be mounted vertically (or at any other angle) for creative effects and dazzling mirror ball twinkles. It has 4-, 16-, 31-, 36- and 51-channel DMX modes, but can also run stand-alone and sound-activated
