Shanling CT-90 Black

The Shanling CT90 is a dedicated Hi-Fi CD transport designed for pure digital playback. It combines the SAA7824 servo system with a DA11 laser head, a top-loading mechanism with a matched CD puck, and a linear power supply with a 35 W transformer for stable and precise disc reading.

The CT90 offers extensive digital connectivity, including I²S, dual AES/EBU, coaxial SPDIF, and Shanling-specific USB audio output. Its FPGA provides 10 selectable I²S output modes to improve compatibility with third-party DACs, while a dedicated CT7302 upsampling circuit supports PCM and DSD conversion through I²S, AES, and coaxial outputs.

In addition to CD, CD-R and CD-RW playback, the CT90 supports USB storage devices with high-resolution audio up to PCM 768 kHz/32 bit and DSD512. USB playback can be controlled using the Eddict Player app, while Bluetooth input supports LDAC, aptX HD, aptX, AAC and SBC.

The CT90 features a robust aluminum chassis, a 4.8-inch widescreen display and a hinged top-loading CD cover. Its Pure CD Mode provides a simplified CD playback experience by disabling the remote, app communication, SRC upsampling, USB and Bluetooth modes, while turning off the screen after five seconds.
