Sela Sela Chau Gong 24" Dark Moon

The Sela Chau Gong Dark Moon is a handcrafted masterpiece made in China from a special bronze alloy, combining traditional craftsmanship with a distinctive visual and sonic character. With its classic Chau gong shape and untreated surface, each piece showcases visible hammer marks and natural patina, making every gong truly unique.

The untreated “Dark Moon” finish not only gives the gong a raw, authentic appearance but also contributes to its natural, earthy sound. It produces a rich and complex frequency spectrum with deep, resonant tones and long sustain, making it ideal for both meditative and musical applications.

Gongs have been used for centuries across cultures for their calming and immersive sound qualities. Depending on how and where the gong is struck, a wide range of tonal textures can be achieved. Its powerful vibrations resonate through the body, making it especially suitable for meditation, sound therapy, and relaxation practices.

Beyond spiritual use, the Sela Chau Gong Dark Moon is also perfect for orchestral settings and experimental music, offering a dark and expressive tonal palette.
