Sela Ocean Drum 40 cm

The Sela Ocean Drum 16” is a unique percussion instrument that brings the calming and powerful sounds of the ocean into your hands. Its innovative design allows you to recreate everything from gentle waves to dramatic surf with simple movements.

Constructed with a round beech wood frame and dual drumheads, the Ocean Drum offers two distinct tonal characters. One side features natural sheep skin, while the other uses a synthetic head, giving you a wide range of sound possibilities.

Inside the drum, a combination of plastic and metal beads moves across the surface when tilted or shaken, producing realistic wave-like effects. A closable opening allows you to adjust the amount of beads, giving control over volume and responsiveness.

In addition to ambient sound effects, the drum can also be played like a traditional frame drum using hands or mallets. Its intuitive design makes it ideal for meditation, sound therapy, music education, and creative performances.
