Sela 2-Tone Claves 20 Rosewood

The SELA 2-Tone Claves 20 are a compact rhythm instrument designed to deliver a deep fundamental tone with brilliant, overtone-rich projection. Made from high-quality rosewood, they produce a powerful and expressive sound with excellent clarity.

Unlike conventional claves, this pair features two different lengths, allowing for two distinct fundamental tones depending on how they are held and played. This enables variation in pitch and adds flexibility to rhythmic patterns.

Claves are widely used in Latin American music styles such as rumba, salsa, and bossa nova, where they form the rhythmic foundation of the ensemble. They are also commonly used in pop and rock music for their distinctive and cutting sound.

With their reddish-brown finish, matte lacquered surface, and precise German craftsmanship, these claves combine visual appeal with reliable performance for both live and studio use.
