Roland n/vision

The Roland n/vision is a compact Boutique synthesizer that combines wavetable synthesis with Roland's latest sound technologies. Designed for creating rich harmonic textures and evolving timbres, it offers intuitive hands-on controls alongside deeper menu-driven tools for detailed sound design.

Its two-layer wavetable architecture supports two-part multitimbral operation, with Dual and Split modes for flexible performance. Up to 56 voices of polyphony enable complex pads, expressive leads, and moving textures. Oscillator modulation, wavetable position control, stereo spread, and Roland wave shaper processing provide extensive options for shaping and transforming sounds.

The synthesizer features modern analog-style filtering with vintage-inspired filter models and drive, plus an effects engine with 17 MFX types, including the classic JUNO chorus. Dedicated delay and reverb add further depth, with five reverb types and a shimmer mode. A step LFO, arpeggiator, and two-part 64-step polyphonic sequencer with motion recording support evolving patterns and dynamic performances.

Designed for both studio and mobile use, the n/vision includes a built-in speaker and the K-25m keyboard dock. It can run on four AA batteries or USB bus power. USB-C provides audio and MIDI connectivity to a computer, while traditional MIDI I/O and an external clock input make integration with hardware setups straightforward.
