Roland Jupiter-08

The Roland JUPITER-08 celebrates 45 years of the legendary JUPITER-8, bringing its iconic analog-inspired sound and hands-on workflow to a compact Roland Boutique instrument. Designed for studio production, live performance, and mobile setups, it combines classic synthesizer architecture with modern features for expanded creative possibilities.

The JUPITER-08 offers up to 32-voice polyphony, refined vintage-inspired pitch behaviour, and flexible sound shaping. Its two-part, 64-step polyphonic sequencer supports up to eight notes per step and includes motion recording. An arpeggiator and Hold function make it easy to develop evolving patterns and perform expressive sequences.

Built-in effects provide further sound-shaping options, including 17 MFX types, stereo chorus, delay, and dedicated reverb with five types and a shimmer mode. The compact instrument features a built-in speaker and can run on four AA batteries or USB bus power, making it suitable for portable music creation.

Connectivity includes USB-C for audio and MIDI, traditional MIDI input and output, an external clock input, and miniature-jack connections for headphones, stereo output, and mixing in external audio. The included K-25m keyboard dock turns the JUPITER-08 into a standalone mini synthesizer ready for desktop or mobile use.
