Roland FP-40 Black

The Roland FP-40 is a portable digital piano combining Roland’s Piano Reality Sound Engine with the PHA-4 Standard weighted hammer-action keyboard. Designed for expressive playing and learning, it provides an authentic piano feel, detailed sound and a powerful built-in speaker system.

The Piano Reality Sound Engine combines premium piano sounds with modeling technologies to reproduce natural resonance, smooth response and rich dynamics. The enhanced speaker system uses two 12 × 8 cm speakers with speaker boxes and delivers 12 W per channel.

The 88-key PHA-4 Standard keyboard features escapement, Ivory Feel keys and triple-sensor detection for responsive playing. Piano Designer settings can be adjusted through the Roland Piano App, while built-in functions include ambience, brilliance, transpose, dual, split, Twin Piano and a metronome.

Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.4 provide wireless connectivity for compatible Roland apps and mobile devices. Bluetooth supports audio and MIDI, while USB-C provides USB MIDI/audio connectivity and power delivery for compatible smartphones. Headphone and headset connections also support quiet practice, streaming and video creation.

The Piano Sphere app provides personalized lessons, real-time feedback and free songs and courses, with optional additional content available. The FP-40 also supports MIDI and audio file playback from USB storage and includes a built-in MIDI recorder.
