Radial Reamp Station

The Radial Reamp® Station combines two essential studio tools in one compact unit: a high-quality active DI box for recording pristine direct instrument tracks, and the renowned JCR Reamper for sending recorded signals back through guitar amps and pedals during mixing and production.

The active DI section is based on the respected Radial J48 design and optimized specifically for recording tracks intended for later Reamping. A selectable Class-A buffer on the Thru output helps preserve the natural tone of passive pickups when connected to amplifiers, preventing unwanted loading effects. The DI section operates using standard 48V phantom power and includes a front-panel LED indicator for power status.

The Reamper section uses the circuit design from the acclaimed Reamp® JCR, originally developed with engineer John Cuniberti. A custom USA-made transformer converts line-level signals from an audio interface into the correct signal level for guitar amplifiers and pedals. Additional controls include output level adjustment, a 3-position filter and a mute switch for silent setup and speaker protection.

With XLR, balanced 1/4" TRS and 3.5 mm mini-jack inputs, the Reamp® Station easily connects to professional studio interfaces as well as mobile devices. Built into a rugged steel chassis and compatible with optional rack mounting accessories, it is designed for demanding recording environments.
