Radial JDI STEREO

The Radial JDI Stereo Passive DI Box is a high-end passive direct box equipped with a Jenson transformer that delivers accurate, distortion-free signal.

The Radial JDI will make a huge difference when it comes to delivering accurate phasing with a distortion-free signal, particularly at the low end of the frequency spectrum. The benefit of a transformer such as this is that it delicately deals with transients, producing a natural compression often actually touted as “vintage-sounding”. Another benefit of isolation is the time that it saves trying to hunt down and supress any buzzing problems that can be caused by ground loops.

This DI box operates within the confines of 48V phantom power, offering a wide frequency response with more headroom and less distortion, whilst also introducing a whole new way of lifting the pin-1 ground without cutting off the phantom power. By installing an internal switching supply, the J48 manages to convert phantom power for more rail voltage, resulting in less distortion and more gain without the use of an input pad. This innovative power system also has allowed for relocation of the ground lift inside the power supply, enabling a stage or studio technician to lift the ground without having to revert to costly and environmentally hazardous batteries.

The JDI and J48 stereo direct boxes offer the same performance as their single channel counterparts in the same compact, ultra-rugged book-end enclosure, offering a stereo DI box to now be available in this easy to use and store compact chassis.
