The PRS Silver Sky Defender Limited Edition combines the acclaimed Silver Sky modelwith an exclusive color collection inspired by some of the Defender series' most iconic colors. The result is a collectible limited edition model where classic design, modernprecision and vintage-inspired playability come together.

The guitar is based on the well-known Silver Sky platform, developed in close collaboration between John Mayer and PRS. The goal is to capture the feel, responseand tone of sought-after vintage guitars while offering the reliability and build quality associated with PRS.

The alder body provides balanced tone with clear attack, full midrange and open resonance. The maple neck with bolt-on construction contributes fast response and stability, while the rosewood fingerboard provides a warm and natural playing feel. The635JM-R neck profile is designed for comfort across the entire fingerboard.

Three PRS 635JM single-coil pickups deliver a full and dynamic sound with a warm, articulate tone and open high end. Combined with the traditional 5-way pickup selector, the guitar offers a wide range of useful tones for everything from blues and funk to pop, rock and modern studio productions.

Each guitar also features a matching painted headstock and an exclusive neck plate marked with the color name and "1 of 500". The guitar comes in a robust PRS ATAMolded Case with a specially designed Defender badge.
