The PRS Silver Sky Defender Limited Edition combines the acclaimed Silver Sky model with an exclusive color collection inspired by some of the Defender series' most iconic colors. The Arles Blue finish draws inspiration from John Mayer's own Defender, givingthis collectible limited edition a distinctive character.

The guitar is based on the Silver Sky platform, developed in close collaboration between John Mayer and PRS, with a focus on the feel, response and tone associated with sought-after vintage guitars. The alder body provides balanced tone with clear attack, full midrange and open resonance. The bolt-on maple neck contributes fast response and stability, while the rosewood fingerboard provides a warm and natural playing feel.

Three PRS 635JM single-coil pickups deliver a full and dynamic sound with a warm, articulate tone and open high end. Combined with the traditional 5-way pickup selector, the guitar offers a wide range of tones for blues, funk, pop, rock and modern studioproductions.

Each guitar features a matching painted headstock and an exclusive neck plate marked with the color name and "1 of 500". The guitar comes with a PRS ATA Molded Case featuring a specially designed Defender badge.
