The CE24 model was introduced by PRS in 1988 and has since become one of the cornerstones of PRS's wide range. The SE CE 24 Standard Satin has a solid mahogany body and a maple neck with a bolt-on neck joint. The thin finish used to coat the instrument allows the CE 24 Standard Satin to reach its full tonal potential. The PRS 85/15 “S” pickups deliver a clear, balanced tone with a distinct high register and a lower register with a little extra punch. To split the humbucker pickups into single coils, use the tone control's push/pull function. This workhorse offers tone, looks, and playability that are well suited to both beginners and experienced players at a great price.
