The PRS SE A50E combines a maple back and sides with a solid spruce top, which together produce a warm and deep tone. Combined with the PRS Hybrid “X”/Classical bracing, designed to allow the top to vibrate as much as possible without losing stability, the SE A50E achieves an almost three-dimensional character in its tone. The body, featuring the Angelus Cutaway design, makes the guitar comfortable to play and is equally suited for both pick and fingerstyle playing.

The pickup system in the AE50EGB is a Fishman Presys VT, specially developed for PRS to deliver both dynamics and a natural tone. The preamp itself is located in the soundhole, where you’ll also find easily accessible controls for volume and tone.

Both the bridge and fingerboard are made of ebony; the fingerboard also features PRS’s classic Birds inlays.
