The solid alder body with three single coil pickups and the screwed maple neck with maple fretboard give both a lovely vintage sound and a homey feel that a well recorded guitar normally has. Silver Sky has the traditional PRS headstock, but with a twist. The head is rotated and the mechanics have been placed in such a way that there is a more even string length, which results in the instrument being easier to tune and that it is easier to bend the thinner strings.
