The CE24 model was introduced by PRS in 1988 and has since become one of the cornerstones of PRS’s extensive lineup. The SE CE24 Standard Satin features an all-mahogany body and a maple neck with a bolt-on joint. The thin finish used on the instrument allows the CE 24 Standard Satin to reach its full tonal potential. The pickups, PRS 85/15 “S,” deliver a clear, balanced tone with a distinct high end and a low end with a bit of extra punch. To split the humbucker pickups into single-coil mode, use the tone control’s Push/Pull function. This workhorse offers tone, looks, and playability that suit both beginners and seasoned players alike, all at a great price.
