8" Dark Splash, hand-hammered B20 alloy—80% copper and 20% tin, with an unpolished top and bottom.
Modern cymbals in classic hand-hammered B20 alloy. Byzance Dark are exciting cymbals with a strong personality and a short, “dirty” sound character. The thin splashes have a short and dry sustain, slightly harder and sharper than the traditional series!
Despite their strong character, Byzance Dark cymbals work very well in both studio and live settings. Dark Splashes are available in 8“ and 10” sizes

• Hand-hammered B20 alloy—80% copper, 20% tin.
• Dark Finish with a raw, unpolished top and bottom.
• Manufactured at Meinl’s Turkish factory, quality-controlled and finished at Meinl’s facility in Germany.
• Warm, dry tone with an earthy, dark sound, short sustain, and relatively low volume.
• Broad sound spectrum suitable for multiple genres such as Jazz, Fusion, World Music, Pop, Rock, Studio, etc.
