Haptic sound generation with Acoustic Synthesis
Acoustic Synthesis builds sound through physically vibrating bodies combined with electronic control. The sound feels alive and responds directly to touch and acoustic feedback—beyond both analog and digital.

The core of the instrument consists of eight independent electromechanical voices with steel resonators.

Interchangeable and tunable resonators
phase8 comes with 13 chromatically tuned resonators, 8 of which can be mounted at the same time. Envelope control allows for everything from short, percussive sounds to long, sweeping tones.

The resonators are easy to change and tune, allowing you to customize both the scale and tone to suit your own expression.

Polymetric rhythm sequencer
The intuitive sequencer supports both step-based programming and unquantized live recording. Each voice has an individual step skip function for polymetric rhythms.

Real-time interaction
Shape sounds by touching, snapping, tapping, or stroking the resonators—or experiment with objects for new textures. The AIR control determines the strength of the acoustic response.
