JHS Pedals Colour Box V2

The JHS Colour Box V2 offers the same core features as the popular V1, with new improvements like expanded EQ controls, a Hi/Lo switch for clean headroom, and phantom power for condenser mics. The Gain section has Master, Pre-Vol, and Step controls, allowing you to adjust overall volume, gain staging, and increase gain in five steps (+18 to +39 dB). The Hi/Lo switch controls clean headroom: Lo mode for clean tones, Hi mode for overdrive and fuzz. A -20 dB pad helps tame loud microphones when using XLR input. The EQ section features Shift controls for Treble, Middle, and Bass, adjusting their frequency ranges for precise tone shaping. The Hi-Pass filter, toggled on below the knob, covers 60Hz to 800Hz with a 6dB/oct slope. The pedal accepts instrument or microphone inputs via combined XLR and 1/4" jacks, selected by the INST/XLR switch.
