The 308P MkIII is a powerful powered 8-inch studio monitor designed for professional music production,mixing, post-production and demanding monitoring environments. Combining an advanced acousticplatform, intelligent DSP room optimization and 110-watt bi-amplified Class D amplification, it deliversexceptional accuracy, wide dynamic range and extended bass response down to 41 Hz.

The new high-performance tweeter provides faster transients and accurate reproduction of ambience,texture and spatial detail extending to 40 kHz. The redesigned 8-inch woofer delivers higher output, lowerdistortion and controlled bass response. JBL's patented Image Control Waveguide provides precise stereoimaging and consistent 120° × 90° coverage, while the double-flared Slipstream port reduces turbulencefor clean and accurate bass reproduction.

Four onboard DSP controls and 81 configurable room tuning combinations allow the monitor to beoptimized for desktop, stand or wall placement. Boundary compensation and high- and low-frequencyresponse can also be adjusted. The 110-watt bi-amplified Class D system, consisting of 55 W for the LFdriver and 55 W for the HF driver, delivers wide dynamic range, ultra-low self-noise and powerful transientperformance, with up to 113 dB peak SPL.
