SR500AL is SR in the Ibanez standard series.
The standard series is Ibanez "regular" models, instruments that are a little cheaper without compromising too much on quality compared to the best models. Instrument for those who want everything Ibanez stands for, playability, reliability, sound, looks and feel, but have a slightly thinner wallet.

The pickups are Bartolini BH2, split coil design pickups with a very wide frequency range and a clear, distinct character from single coil but without hum and noise.
