S6621AH-TGB. (Transparent Gray Burst) Prestige. Made in Japan.
The S6621AH is an S-model in the Ibanez Prestige series. The Prestige is, together with the signature series, the best Ibanez builds.
The S model is a unique Ibanez design that has been around since -87, as long as the RG model. The model was first called Sabre but soon changed its name to the short and concise ?S?.
It has also been the starting point for various signature models and the FGM100 (Frank Gambale) model is probably the most famous. The transparent gray paint is incredibly effective and really does justice to the picture.
It is a light and ergonomic guitar with a heavily sculpted body that is normally thick in the middle but becomes much thinner towards the edges (on both the front and back), it gives a shape that almost flows with the body when you stand up and play. An ultimate guitar for guitarists who play long sets live, who practice long sessions or who just want an extremely ergonomic guitar.
The guitar has an Ibanez Super Wizard HP neck profile, the thinnest and slimmest version of Ibanez necks. HP stands for it being a refined and further developed version of the old Super Wizard neck profile. Combined with the flat fingerboard, it is an extremely fast and easy-to-play neck, the ultimate neck for fast, technical riffing and/or tricky solo playing.
But the neck is not limited to technical playing, you can of course play everything on it. The obvious neck choice for those who don't want anything else in the way of their ideas than their own playing technique.
The body is made of Mahogany, a real tonewood that tends towards a slightly warmer and more midrange sound-wise. The treble is slightly softly rounded but without losing clarity and separation. It has a pleasant hump in the midrange that makes the sound during melody/solo playing fat and singing with long sustain.

Connection:
The pickups are DiMarzio, connected to a 5-way switch with common tone and volume control. The positions you can access on the switch are.
1. Bridge pickup in series*
2. Bridge pickup split** in parallel with split neck pickup
3. Bridge pickup in series + neck pickup in series
4. Neck pickup with the coils connected in parallel***
5. Neck pickup in series
* Series, both coils on the pickup are connected in series after each other and the pickup provides as much output and power as it is designed for. If you read about the pickup on the manufacturer's website, this is the position that is described. The pickup is then hum-cancelling and completely silent.
** Split, the fact that the pickup is split means that one of the pickup's two coils is turned off and becomes a singlecoil (only one active coil). This means that you get half the output and power the pickup has when the coils are connected in series. The pickup loses its hum-cancelling ability when one coil is turned off. But positions 2 and 4 are hum-cancelling and silent as the active coil on the bridge (position 2) or neck pickup (position 4) is connected in parallel with the center pickup.
It gives a softer, brighter and more open sound with a cleaner, clearer and firmer bass. A sound that is very suitable for clean and semi-distorted sounds (or by all means, to open up even a heavily distorted sound).
