Body: Ash
The guitar has a body of ash, a slightly lighter wood with a slightly more prominent treble and a fast, snappy attack. The bass is firm and clear, which makes it tight with good separation.
The clear top makes it cut through thick sound mats well without becoming thin or sharp. Chords and riffs become snappy and respond quickly with great separation and melody/solo playing becomes attack-rich and clear and it is easy to distinguish all notes even in fast lines (as long as the technique doesn't falter, of course).
Frets:
The frets are made of stainless steel and have an extremely smooth playing feel that will last a lifetime. They are almost indestructible and last 7-8 times as long as regular frets. Benda and vibrato feel soft as velvet. The frets don't need to be polished and maintained in the same way as regular frets. Considering that the cost of a re-strung with regular frets is 3-4000:-, it's easy math that you quickly save a lot of money by choosing stainless.
Neck: Wizard-8
The neck is a 5-piece Wizard-8 profile, can best be described as a slightly thicker Super Wizard neck. It has the width and the same well-sharpening jumbo frets as the Super Wizard but is a little thicker. A neck for those who want what Ibanez is known for, an extremely fast and easy-to-play neck, but want a little more wood in the hand.
3 parts maple and 2 parts Wenge gives a very durable and stable neck.
