Neck: Super Wizard HP
The guitar has an Ibanez Super Wizard HP neck profile, the thinnest and slimmest version of Ibanez necks. HP stands for it being a refined and further developed version of the old Super Wizard neck profile. Combined with the flat fingerboard, it is an extremely fast and easy-to-play neck, the ultimate neck for fast, technical riffing and/or tricky soloing. But the neck is not limited to technical playing, you can of course play everything on it.
The obvious choice of neck for those who don't want anything else in the way of their ideas but their own playing technique.
Frets: Stainless Steel
The frets are made of stainless steel and have an extremely smooth playing feel that will last a lifetime. They are almost indestructible and last 7-8 times as long as regular frets. Benda and vibrato feel soft as velvet. The frets don't need to be polished and maintained in the same way as regular frets. Considering that the cost of a re-strung with regular frets is 3-4000:-, it's easy math that you quickly save a lot of money by choosing stainless.
Body: African Mahogany
Mahogany is a wood with sound properties on the warmer side with a clear and prominent midrange. A classic tonewood with a warm, sustain-rich, singing tone.
Bridge: LO-Pro Edge tremolo
The bridge is Ibanez's fantastic Lo-Pro EDGE, a well-proven sway of absolutely top quality that has become the template for function and durability for floating bridges. Considered by many to be the best locking sway system on the market. Lo-Pro is a lower version of the classic EDGE. Knife-suspended bridge with a fantastically soft and responsive playing feel. With a little simple maintenance and common sense in handling it will keep the tune for life (our life, not the bridge's).
