Ibanez PTPRE

PTPRE is a sonic chameleon, a dist, preamp, EQ, boost pedal that can sound like almost anything. Just about any sound you're looking for is here, flexible just took on a whole new meaning.

The pedal starts with a pre boost where you can push or tighten the sounds you choose to use.
Then comes a gain that goes from just a little crack to amounts of oversteer where the amount of gain can be pushed even more with the pre boost knob. After gain you have a bass and a treble control to be able to quickly adjust for the room you are in. A level knob to set the entire volume on and e bright switch that opens up the treble.

After this comes an extremely flexible parametric EQ where you can access to fine-tune all the frequencies a guitar is in. You can literally shape it how it wants, cut or boost just how you want. From left to right, you can adjust all frequencies from 30hz up to 14.5kHz with ten dB boost or cut on selected frequencies. EQ and pre boost can also be controlled with an extra foot control (not included). Did I write flexible?

After all this, you have a post boost where you can push the volume up more for a solo, for example.
At the end of the chain, you have a very effective noise gate that allows you to get silence even at extreme amounts of dust.
