K7YANG. Head (Korn) Signature Model.
When Ibanez shocked the world and released the first 7-string electric guitar 30 years ago, no one could have imagined how much the instrument would change guitar-driven music forever. Head and the band Korn were arguably the first act to take these instruments and realize their full sonic potential, shaping a sound that would go on to create an entirely new movement in music. Korn and Ibanez designed the original K7 signature model in the early 2000s, creating an instrument that matched Korn’s unparalleled uniqueness. Now, nearly twenty-five years after the release of the original K7 models, Ibanez has released the special K7YANG, featuring many of the classic K7 specs.

* Series: both coils of the pickup are connected in series with each other, giving the pickup the maximum output and power it was designed for. If you read about the pickup on the manufacturer’s website, this is the mode being described. The pickup is hum-cancelling and completely silent in this mode.
