BTB7MS-NML (Natural Mocha Low Gloss) Ibanez Bass Workshop. 7-string Multi-scale.
The BTB series can best be described as series-produced boutique basses, extremely well-sounding and well-balanced instruments. The slightly longer scale of the neck makes the basses perfect for the low B, and gets a completely different stuns and firmness of the slightly longer scale.

The 2.5 cm (1") difference may not look big on paper, and it doesn't feel like much of a difference to play, but the difference in tone is big. The tones have a completely different tension, tightness and articulation than on a shorter scale. On low notes in particular, the difference is really worth the extra stretching of the fingers. The long upper horn means that the bass, despite its slightly longer neck, is perfectly balanced whether you sit or stand up and play.
If you play 5a, 6a or tune down, the longer scale is something you just have to try, you will certainly not regret it. The mics are Bartolini® BH2, balanced clear, warm dual-coil mics with a firm and tight bass and a full and open midrange. The bridge is Ibanez Mono-Rail V, a bridge designed to isolate the strings from each other. The isolation provides optimal transmission of the string vibrations down the body without the strings affecting each other. A stable and very easy to adjust bridge.

BTB7MS är en bas utrustade med fanned frets, vilket är en metod för att kunna ha olika mensur på olika strängar, så kallat multi-scale fingerboard.Detta gör man, bland annat, för att få optimal skallängd för alla strängar.Låga strängar låter avsevärt bättre, fastare, tajtare och mer stuns, med en längre skala medan de tunna strängar blir hårda, plonkiga och väldigt svårspelade med så lång skala som de låga strängarna behöver. Fanned frets, multi-scale, är lösningen på detta, tajta och stabila låga toner och höga med bibehållen snapp och värme.
