ASH300-TBC (Tobacco Brown) Ibanez Artstar.

Artstar is the top series in the Ibanez Artcore range, full-blooded hollow and semi-hollow instruments for professionals or someone who just wants a really good instrument without completely breaking the bank. What distinguishes Artstar most is that it is extremely well built, good and beautiful wood and very good pickups and parts. Guitars that stand up to comparison with anything, regardless of price, on the market.
ASH300 is a semi hollow-body guitar, continuous center stock, just as you would expect from a good guitar from 335 pieces. This makes the guitar very insensitive to feedback/rounding even at very high volumes. A guitar that works well whether you play clean or heavily distorted and everything in between.

The body is built of solid spruce top with flame maple on both sides and back, a wood that is both good-sounding and beautiful.
The neck is a 3-piece set-in (glued) Nyatoh/Maple neck with a bound ebony fingerboard with classic white dot inlays, a beautiful traditional look combined with maximum sound characteristics.
Medium frets with Artstar Fret Edge Treatment.

The pickups are an Ibanez Super 58, which combines a soft and nuanced tone with an ability to bite when needed. Works equally well for clean and traditional jazz sounds as for overdriven blues and rock sounds. Here combined with a Tri-Sound switch that allows the neck pickup to be run in series*, split** or in parallel***.

* Series, both coils on the pickup are connected in series after each other and the pickup gives as much output and power as it is designed for. If you read about the mic on the manufacturer's website, this is the mode that is described. The mic is then hum-cancelling and completely silent.

** Split, the fact that the mic is split means that one of the two coils of the mic is turned off and becomes a singlecoil (only one active coil). This means that you get half the output and power the mic has when the coils are connected in series. The mic loses its hum-cancelling ability when one coil is turned off.
